Today I have decided to post a listing of some online fabric stores that I have found. There are many different fabrics and therefore there should be more than one place to buy fabric. I was having a hard time finding fabric after exhausting the stores here in my local area. So, I had no choice, but to seek out new sources. My favorite stores are http://www.joann.com/ and http://www.hancockfabrics.com/, had a limited amount of fabric and notions. One can only make so many trips to a brick and mortar store before they find themselves out of options.
I can't forget to mention my onestop shop, Walmart. If you are looking for reasonably priced fabric and even cheap fabric that is totally awesome,,, run, don't walk, to your nearest Walmart. Even though Walmart has basically discontinued it's fabric department in most of their stores, there are still some Walmart stores that carry fabric. I did a basic search through Walmart.com for my location's Walmarts, then checked the online craft area for fabric by the yard. The online search showed me which stores in my area carried fabric and which ones didn't. Needless to say, I do not visit the ones that don't carry fabric..LOL

http://thefabricfairy.com/- Here you can buy fabric by the bolt and free shipping for purchases of $125.00. This site has an array of bright fabrics that is well suited for children and the Mod stylist.
http://beautifulfabric.com/- This is a store for the DIY upholstery specialist and enthusiast. If you are in the mood to change a few things around the house such as cushions for your outdoor patio set or upholster a chair, then this is a really good place to find really great upholstery fabric.
These online stores get an honorable mention because they had that special spark that I saw while browsing. I have not purchased from them as of yet, but will get around to it very soon.
I am sure that over time my list will find new places to visit for fabric and I will try to make changes along the way, but if you have a favorite store let the rest of us in on it.
